Issues initially loading filament

I have recently bought an Ender 3 V3 and set it up, however, upon trying to initially load the filament into the extrude it does not want to go in very far before being completely stopped. Even checking with the needle cleaning tool that doesn’t go in as far as in the video guide for needle cleaning.

Make sure the lock lever on the extruder is open.

Also try to straighten out the end of the filament that is going into the extruder. Sometimes it’s curled up and doesn’t want to cooperate. :joy:

It doesn’t have to go in that far as long as the extruder gears catch it. Then lock the lever and hit extrude.

It appears that at some point some white filament was blocking the hole even though I originally started with black and experienced this problem. After having taking the motor out and found the blockage I managed to clear it and now it works fine.
