The problem started when my bed meshes came back looking like one of those maps that show trenches and valleys on the ocean floor. I learned the my bed was warped and as I didnt want this to happen repeatedly I went with the Mandala ultra flat bed with the keenovo heater. It kinda worked after that, there were errors that it wasn’t heating up fast enough. So i would have to preheat it. The problems with that is the really long song and dance before it prints, if it cooled down too much during that before starting its print it would be an error and like 10 minutes wasted. So i got a new SSR, unfortunately I messed up on the wiring and fried the mainboard. After fixing all that and replacing fried parts the new problem was that the printer head was jackhammering into the walls of the printer. Customer support told me that the new mainboards required new stepper motors for x and y. After spending all this money replacing all the other parts i had to wait a while to get the motors. I tried to be cheap and got 2 off brand motors, that didn’t go so well. Finally I ordered an official creality motor and just took the other out of my cr5 pro. I didn’t have the original cables and figuring out the correct wiring took quiet a while. After solving that problem there is still some crashing into walls but not as bad after adjusting the sensitivity. I try to home it and it seems off. I could have sworn when i homed it back when it was functioning it landed in the back left corner, now its in the front left corner but its been such a long time I can’t say for certain if Im just misremembering it or not. And there was a point where the printer had was not going in the directions I asked it to causing me to have to alter some settings. So I don’t know if I screwed up the sensorless homing along the way. Then after homing when I try to click calibrate in fluuid for a mesh its either greyed out and I cant or it will go through all the points on the be, it wont give me a mesh and it tells me that a belt is skipping on z. I’ve scrubbed those screws clean several times, it cannot be that. But i did have to adjust the belts when I switched to the smaller steppers. Did I take off too much ? If anyone has any suggestion that would be amazing, also if anyone who has a k1 max with the 42-48 steppers can share their printer.cfg I would greatly appreciate it. Ive edited mine, went back to the factory settings, looked up configurations online, had ai write the adjustments etc. I don’t remember what worked and what didn’t, if i tried an older firmware or not. Im on the latest one, I feel like i did but Ive tried so many things as this issue went on, I cant say for certain. I really liked this printer and was excited to upgrade for the CFS when it was finally fixed, but Ive lost all patience now and this thing is dancing on my last nerve. Anyone with answers, please help Thank you.
