K1 0.6 nozzle profile

I needed a 0.6 nozzle profile for my K1 and after searching all links, was unsuccessful.
So why not try to make one of my own and this is the route I took.
First made a copy of the 0.4 profile, by clicking on the edit tab, then create and named it K1 0.6 nozzle. Then added another printer to creality print that already had a 0.6 profile, which in my case was the K2 Plus.
I then opened up two instances of Creality Print, one with the K2 Plus 0.6 profile and the other with my new K1 0.6 profile and then copied all the settings over into my new K1 0.6 profile, clicking on save at every new page.
Then printed with PLA+ a Benchy using the 0.4 profile 37 mins and the new 0.6 profile 22 mins,
both came out just fine.
Then the reason for the 0.6 nozzle profile, I printed a Bird feeder and it cut the time down from three hours to two, and gave good results.
The creality 0.6 nozzle profile, you can only use Hyper PLA, can’t add other Types of filament, with my one I have the full range of filament.

In creality print it is far easier. Go to the printer options and by the .4mm option below the selected printer hit the +/- and select the .6 and .8 and confirm. It then loads the profiles to use.

Yes it gives you the nozzle size profile, but still only the PLA filament settings.
I use more than just PLA filament.

Could you fix it? I have same issue, cant find filament settings for 0.6 nozzle

Creality now have profiles for 15 filament types using the 0.6 nozzle and layer height setting from,0.18 to 0.42, again for the 0.6 nozzle, although on their new K2 plus, all you have to do is
create a printer profile for the K1 and port over all these setting.
I’m now printing on my K1 at 0.18 layer height with a 0.6 nozzle and the results are superb.
The process of achieving this are quite simple, but you have to be precise when building the
Printer profile, just take your time.
If any one want’s to try this for themself, leave a message and I’ll post all the detail on how this was done.

Please share on the information how to do it

I don’t understand why Creality will not add more 0.6 nozzle profiles to the latest version of Creality print, 6.0.5.1840.
So I gave OrcaSilcer a try and was pleasantly surprised, with how much it looked like Creality print and you can print directly from the slicer, the best part it has the full 0.6 nozzle profiles for most filament types

Please, let us know if you use a manual method (copy and paste in two istance of slicer) or you have find a trick to export/import/clone or any other way … thanks !!!
