I’m having several issues with the CFS-C on my Creality K1 (not Max)
Initially, everything went fine. I installed Creality Print v7, from scratch on a new desktop, so no previous profiles or settings where there.
Installed the firmware included on the CFS-C bundled USB stick, the firmware info on my printer now shows this:
There’s a Benchy .3mf file included on the stick, so I sliced that with Creality Print (I didn’t use the pre-sliced .gcode file) using the default K1_CFS-C profile and it printed perfectly, including using all filaments.
I then sliced the included riser .stl files, again, printed everything without issue.
Next day, I then sliced another .stl file and sent it to print. Using the same profile. Nothing printed, first layer adhesion just didn’t work
I tried using a different build plate, redoing the calibration & bed-levelling procedures etc. Would not print first layer.
Eventually, I managed to get the first layer to print buy doing some heavy adjustments to the print profile and the auto selected Hyper PLA profiles. Mostly, those settings involved changing the build plate temperature to 60, nozzle temp to 225 etc.
Now I’m having more issues. The CFS-C just constantly keeps unspooling then re-spooling the selected filament, it’ll do this for 30 - 40 minutes after starting a print, eventually, it’ll either print, or, more likely, throw a clogged error. I’ve dismantled the extruder and confirmed that there’s no clogs. I’ve tried using it with the extruder lock in both on & off positions. I can confirm that the filament is reaching the print head on all occasions.
Anyone have any ideas for further troubleshooting?
