K1 failing Input Shaping after software upgrade

I’ve had my K1 now for 2 years, when it arrived it was loaded with firmware V1.3.1.28 and was working great, however the printer presented a message that a newer version of firmware was available, so it was loaded to the machine. It then presented the error 2522 during Input Shaping in self check, I reverted back to the original version and self check finished correctly. After hours of looking online for the answer nothing was found to solve the problem, just to revert back. So its been like that ever since, Now I am a bit more experienced printing I would like to root the printer, this involves a firmware version of V1.3.3.5 or more, I installed the latest version V1.3.3.46, but the printer again throw error 2522 in self check. Reverted back to the original software, passes self check.

I have now tried installing all the different versions of firmware between V1.3.2.20 and V1.3.3.46 all produce the same error 2522 in self check. but revert back to V1.3.1.28 and the printer works great.

I’ve checked all the wires, plugs nuts and bolts under the plate and on the mother board all OK. So why does it work on the delivery firmware and not on any other?

Anybody else seen this problem and got a solution?

Had a good day yesterday, got to thinking about bed levels and how it affects the strain gauges on the plate, I knew from new the plate had a level variation of 1.3mm front left around +0.9mm. so went through the click method of levelling, 4 clicks on the front left and 3 clicks on the right, got the plate to around 0.2mm variation.

Installed the latest firmware V1.3.3.46 and ran the Self Check, this time it passed both Input Shaping and bed levelling and has worked ever since. Problem solved.
