I recently tried to install the BIQU probe, and after countless hours of trying to set it up, I gave up. Before installing the BIQU probe, I had added a glass bed mod to even out the build plate, and this mod is probably why the probe couldn’t work properly with it(to thin build plate). So I ordered a BTT Eddy probe to check if it will work.
In the meantime, I did a factory reset, unplugged the BIQU probe, and started a new bed leveling before installing the BTT Eddy. But, the printer acted weird during leveling. Normally, the head moves consistently from left to right, but this time it was skipping some points on the bed and moving back and forth randomly. After it was done, I got this result:
Can anyone explain what went wrong? Is this related to the cell probes? are they damaged?
I must mention that after modding the printer with the BIQU probe and during the first Z homing attempt, the bed didn’t stop and almost bent the X/Y rails, but I managed to stop it in time.
