K1 max can't load filament

Hello everyone,
I have an issue with the filament loading. its’ PLA, i set the printer to 220°C.
What happened:
I wanted to change the filament.
The filament was a bit hard to remove, i had to use a bit of force (not so much). When it came out it was not very clean, it seems melted then cooled.

When i tried to put the new filament it won’t come in.
I supposed there was some bit of old filament in the head. I tried tu push it with the metal rod tool of the creality. It can’t go in. Then i try to heat up the tool and tried again.
This time i went through and some filament came out from the nozzle.
If i put the metal rod in and i push a cleaning needle in the nozzle, i can push the rod.
However i can’t load the filament. It seems the are something that prevent the filament to go in. The rod can go but it is thinner than the filament.

I tied to give as many details as possible.

Hope someone has a solution.

Thanks in advance

Next time you want to switch material, use the extrude/retract option you can find in the menu of the printer… Never, NEVER pull the material out of the machine when hotend is not on the right temperature…

To load the new material: insert material into extruder and lock it… go into menu of printer and select the Extrude/Retract tab… set temperature to 240 and press EXTRUDE… hotend will warm-up and then the printer will feed material into hotend…

With the old version of the K1 Max, you could pull out the material without any problem when the hotend was cold… the K1 Max with Unicorn type nozzle will not allow you to do that, you need to use the retract-option from the menu with heated nozzle…

It is possible that there is some left material between the extruder gears… then you have to clean that…

I used the extract option in the menu. However it made a clicking noise, it was stuck. It’s why i needed to pull it a bit (after unlocking the mecanism).
I dissasembled the extruder gears and i found some material in it. I removed it and now it’s working fine.

Thanks for the answer.
