On my K1Max with CFS, the filament isn’t being fed all the way into the extruder. Surely it should keep pushing forwards until the sensor in the extruder is triggered, or am I mistaken here?
It always feeds up to a certain point (about 20 cm before the extruder), regardless of which slot is used and then retracts completely..
I’ve already got a new buffer and fitted it – same problem.
I’ve bought the newer hotend – the problem persists.
I’ve checked the circuit board in the extruder – according to some reports, it’s the correct one.
I’ve checked the software – everything’s up to date.
Even if I manually insert a strip of filament into the extruder whilst it’s moving forwards, the CFS doesn’t stop or react in any other way.
No error code is displayed either!
What’s the problem? Has anyone else had something like this?
I’ve been struggling with this problem for several weeks now and am slowly losing the patience to keep trying with colour printing.
