K1 Max CFS keeps jamming

Hey, I have the K1 Max and recently installed the CFS, generally it works somewhat fine, but the extruder simply jams on a regular basis, almost after every print, now the thing is when it works it prints just fine, there are almost never any issues while printing, but I can for example print something, then finish a print, few minutes later try to start another print and the extruder is jammed, this doesn’t make any sense. The amount of times I had to take apart the extruder, in most cases I don’t really even see any issue for the jam, but I just have to do it so many times it’s crazy.

I noticed that in some cases I can extrude just fine, but the moment I try to extrude with the PTFE it just jams, the PTFE is fine, I feed it from the top like the installation guide recommends, and still have these weird issues.

Anyone experienced anything like that? Any ideas? I used to love my printer, but with the CFS it’s now such a pain.

Thanks.

I’m sorry you’re having trouble; the CFS upgrade kit is a complete disappointment. Unfortunately, Creality releases its products without fully testing them and expects users to find their own solutions. The software, in particular, has serious shortcomings. The extruder is definitely problematic. My suggestion is to lubricate the gears and cutting spring after disassembly. Also, replace the tubes with 2mm instead of 2.5mm. Finally, if the height is stock, remove the top glass.
