K1 max cfs kit tpu capable?

Does the K1 Max lose the ability to print TPU when the CFS kit is added? Is any work around to feed the tpu manually?
I used to feed tpu from a direct spool over the machine with the old extruder, but it looks like i cant do it now.

As far as I’m aware the CFS itself is not compatible with TPU. Presumably the filament is not rigid enough for the automatic feeding. There is still an option to use the side spool holder in which case you’d just do old style manual feed by disconnecting the tube from the CFS.

The Feeder gears do not grip the TPU as firmly as they did before, and it doesn’t feed properly. I don’t want to have to change extruder just to print TPU, but the plastic gears don’t have the grip my upgraded metal ones did.

i’ve done some work around…
Guessed it was that way (using a spool holder), but to print 2 or more colors of TPU the system gave an error (incorrect filament)
had to, not only disable, unplug the CFS and turn off and on the printer.
At least that was my case.
The new extruder IMHO did the same job if not better than the older one.
You dont need a lot of grip in tpu, if you put too much pressure on it it will tangle.
