Installed CFs upgrade kit as per instructions and all went ok but when I installed the USB stick the Firmware would not update so the Max cannot operate. The firmware I need is V 2.3.5.19. The firmware on the Max is V 1.3.3.36. Cannot find this firmware anywhere, any ideas folks ???

I had a peek on the USB drive on a windows machine.
Inside the root was a folder “K1 Series CFS Upgrade …”
I copied the file CR4CU220812S11_ota_img_V2.3.5.33.img from inside this to the root and put the drive back in the K1 Max while switched on. It immediately offered the upgrade.
Thankyou, moving the file worked fine, all went well until I tried out the CFS and got a notice that the filament tube was blocked at the extruder. So I removed all and then found that two wires of the motor had severed. (lots of swearwords) It must have happened when I did the conversion. I am trying to get Creality to send me a new motor. Please anyone doing the conversion MUST be careful with the motor wiring, There is only a small gap for the wires to pass through and it is easy to trap them. I will get it working one day !!!

So mine is on the Creality k1, I see it go into the head and it even slowly comes out of the nozzle, but it says there is a cfs error and can’t extrude? It also says buffer failure because it can’t retract, any help?
Could someone please provide me with the firmware… since Creality tells me it may take 2 to 4 days to provide it to me… if anyone could, that would be great!
