K1 max How do i get clean prints on

I don’t know how to get the cleanest prints im quite new to 3d printing but i got this as a Christmas gift and i have done some prints but i really want to get off the bed clean prints as its a quite advanced printer i dont want it to go to waste any suggestions I would appreciate very much

Having this one as a first printer is a tricky one, I’m not sure if I would have continued with 3D printing if that was my first printer, but luckily I started with Ender 3 V2. Creality is not Bambu, so usually things don’t work out of the box. You have to do some reading and poke around with the settings. Here is what works for my K1 Max:

  • Z-Offset: 0.03 - 0.05 (this will be different on your machine)
  • Top and Bottom Layers Flow: 1.1 (110%)
  • First layer line width: 0.42 - 0.45 (default is 0.5 and leads to really bad looking first layer)
  • For less visible layer lines - reduce layer height to 0.12 - 0.16, you can go down to 0.08, but this will increase print time significantly. Keep first layer height at 0.2.
  • Use good filament, a bad filament could waste you days. Start with Creality or Bambu filaments.
  • Start with PLA. PLA is the easiest to print.
  • For tweaking the settings start with something small that prints for 15-30 minutes. Tweak → Print → Repeat.
  • There are tons of tutorial videos on YouTube.
