K1 Max inequal bed adhesion

Hello,

I’ve recently tried to print parts which use a wider area of the print bed. But as you can see in the image, on the top left corner there is filament over extrusion and on the bottom right its under extrusion. I guess this relies on the bed being not perfectly levelled, even though I used the calibration with autoleveling. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the print quality and fix this issue?

Thanks in advance and have a good day

hi - I have the same issue too and it is affecting the first few layers of the print which is annoying - I also don’t know how to fix it so any suggestions by anyone would be well received by me too! It seems the nozzle is printing some of the base layer lines slightly too far apart and so the strands of filmanent to adhere to each other and end up as ‘strings’ on the base which easily come off… :frowning: :pensive: - such a shame as it has been great up until now…not sure what has gone wrong

This could be caused by a partial clog in the nozzle

I’ve had this issue since I got my printer (V3 KE) 10 months ago. I’ve replaced the entire bed and basically “rebuilt” everything (meaning re assembled) to make sure everything was tight and in the right places. To date I can’t get a “perfect” or near perfect 1st layer across the bed and after 2 months I’m still in “conversation” with Creality tech support. I still maintain that this issue is faulty Auto Calibration and not the hardware. If the machine has auto calibration then it should compensate according to the mesh.

I’m new to the K1’s family. I got the similar issues.

Check for the wrapped bed. The right rear corner is quite a bit higher than the other 3x corners.

I got the assistance from Kevin @ Creality + Tech support team.
You can try to add some bed spacer to make it better.

Some user able to fine tune it less than 0.2 mm variance. I am able to cut down the variance but still no cigar yet. Center of my bed is kind of sink down quite a bit. I also try another method tape it up under my PEI sheet to try to make up the different but still can’t really get it flat.

I ordered some silicon bed support from Amazon and replace the factory one. So I can do some turning with the bed and hopefully I can get it better.

I will update it after I installed the silicon bed support. Finger crossed I will able to make it much better than
