K1 MAX nozzle exploded?

Someone please tell me how this is possible?

First the tip pf the nozzle comes off and it extrudes 3 mm filament. And when I take the rest of the nozzle out, it comes off in two parts!

My K1 MAX has to be the worst quality piece of machine I’ve ever owned. First, four extruder motor gear teeth came off after 20 hours of printing. Currently I’m waiting for a replacement bed to replace the original Pringles bed. Now nozzles star falling apart.

I’ve lost my respect for Creality “quality” and my next printer surely won’t be a Creality piece of s*it.

damn, at least you were able to get your nozzle out. I went to change mine and the tip twisted off with no effort. I had to buy an entire new hotend (upgraded to microswiss).

This happen with all press insert tip nozzles… check any other manufacturer… It happens if you get bad clog/partial clog and hotend get too much pressure and cause press insert to fall out.

Ok, that’s good to know.

Any recommendations for good alternative nozzles?

idk all nozzle are these day are basically like that two part design, same with aftermarket hotend from like Micro Swiss.

Do not use thermal paste, this causes the remaining part of the nozzle to stick.

Really?

Even though Creality’s instructional videos specifically say to use thermal paste?

What you say makes very much sense but why would they advise to use the paste if it causes the nozzles to weld solid…?

Yes, it’s true.

I’ve used thermal paste twice before, and both times the nozzle stuck to the cooler. Also, if it’s not original, its strength is low.
