K1 Max with CFS-C and CFS? Does it have root access?

Hi. I had an idea and I’m wondering if it would work? I currently have a K1 Max with the Unicorn Nozzle and the new mainboard installed. The stepper motors have been converted to the smaller version. A CFS upgrade kit is installed, but the CFS unit is still sitting next to it. I’ve seen a good deal on the CFS-C and I’m thinking of getting it. Would it work to install the CFS-C and connect the second CFS unit to it, so that I have 8 colors? Or does the CFS not work with the CFS-C Hub?

And does anyone know, that the root access is still available? I speak to the customer service from creality, one said it didnt work, the other said it works, but ist not recommended. Without root the printer will work mutch better, without any issues :person_shrugging:

Best regards

Sebastian

Think you asked about this on other thread.

CFS-C is a variant for old printers without the cutter, so is no better, is only different and mean for other printers. the CFS will work fine on your printer.
