I recently purchased the CFS upgrade and two CFS feeders. After installation, I frequently encountered an error code indicating a Buffer unit failure or a feeder issue (Error Code FB2864). Despite purchasing a new Buffer unit and a new HotHead cutter unit, the problem persisted. Eventually, I discovered that the issue stemmed from the spring at the bottom of the CFS unit. The spring, which applies pressure to the filament when the CFS motor feeds it, was too tight. After removing one coil from the spring and reinstalling it, the unit has been functioning properly.
