K1-Resume on Power Outage

Yesterday I was printing an adaptor using PETG on K1 Max. It was a 19h long print. Around 13 into it, the power went off. The Print head stopped, After few minutes when the power resumed, It asked if I wanted to resume, I said yes, and off it continued printing, I looked at the print later. It looked ok, but then I realised the part from where it resumed printing had weakend and it broke off. So after it resumes the adhesion to the layer below is weak. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Yes, it’s common for adhesion issues to occur after a power outage and subsequent resumption of a 3D print.

Today I again tried to print, I then deliberately switched off the power to see what happens. After I resumed printing, as the head moved to the home position, I saw that it had left behind a blob on the print. there is no way to get rid of it before the print head returns for printing.
