Little bit of back story. Firstly I’m an automotive technician. I am helping an elderly man with his 3d printer issues for his K1 SE. (Personally I’m broke and only own an ender 3 classic lol) the owner already replaced the main board which had a board jump from the S11 to the S12. He replaced the PCB board going from v13 to v14. As well as a new cable that I installed today for the owner. I’ve checked all connectors for damage, bent pins etc and all are in great shape. Yet the code remains. When I took it on I installed the new cable . As of right now (1:19am est) I’ve updated the firmware, the new main board failed to burn firmware; The only thing not changed was in face the hot end, with the connectors. for the thermistor and nozzle. I’ve also noticed that his hot end cover doesn’t fit proper. Original code was key 111. Now recognized as BM0111. Any tips and recommendations I could try to do to get the board to handshake with the PCB?
Notice Bed Temp and Nozzle temp are inoperable.** I believe this to be in conjunction with the PCB not being recognized by the main board.**
Any and all knowledge is acceptable. I plan on resistance testing and voltage testing wires later today after a nap.
Thanks!
