K1 SE inaccuracy

Hello

I recently purchased a K1 SE which i have been very happy with, up to now ! I have just tried printing a few tolerance critical items which has lead me to notice that the x and y axis arent accurate.

I printed a simple 100mm x 100mm item and the x axis came out at 99.50mm and the y axis at 99.75mm.

On my old Ender 5 Pro this was easily fixed by adjusting the e-steps but there is no such setting on the K1 SE. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Try Califlower tool? There is free ones on printable if you search for calibration tools.

Itf could just be materials shrinkage.

Unlikely has i use the same filament that i used on the Ender 5 Pro, also its consistantly smaller on the x axis then the y axis. Any other suggestions, and is it possible to adjust the e-steps like you could on the Ender ?
I know you can adjust for shrinkage in Creality print and Orca which are the two i use, but that adjusts for both the x and y axis together, not just one.

Thanks for the input

If you root your k1 you should able edit the klipper config and edit the motor steps.

I had heard that but i havent got a clue how its done. I dont want to knacker the printer by doing something wrong

Anyone else have any ideas ? This forum doesnt look very lively to be honest.
Thanks

I know you going to have spend money, but compensate via skew/calibration print via slicer. Its not perfect solution but you don’t have mess with firmware side, as clearly you not do not want to root your device and edit klipper config. As all documentation are on vector3d paid tool or klipper docs.

I would love to root it but i havent got a clue how to do it

I cant seem to get my head around that, i think i will have to leave well alone.
