I recently bought a K1C and had a severe jam. I tried to follow advice and ended up taking the front end apart to clear the jam. I could not get the fan cover to snap into position. I ended up breaking the pins on the aux fan connector. Now I need a new pcba. Creality support has been hit and miss. Supposedly I have a service ticket and someone will email me. From what others have reported Creality will probably take care of my problem. I can’t find a replacement pcba to buy no matter how hard I try. Why not? I have ordered a fan cover from Amazon since the Creality version jams into the top-center connector and wires. I have tried adjusting the plastic to make it fit with no luck. Maybe soon I will have a functional fan cover. I assume from the numerous plans for fan covers and the variety available on Amazon that others have run into this issue. Creality should immediately change their design so that it fits without pressure.
Creality got a replacement pcba to me in 1 week which got the printer back to operation. The connector for the hot end fan is flaky. It had problems when I first tested it, but it’s worked well for a couple of weeks. I may need a new fan to get a new connector. Someone with soldering talent would need a new connector.
