K1C 2025 Edition - Print bed is moving up and down while printing

Hi,

I recently purchased a K1C printer. I have done about 20-25 prints on it total.
I consider myself a bit of a newbie to 3D printing.

On my latest attempted print, the print bed keeps moving up and down (on and off the nozzle) while printing. I have not come across this behaviour before. I havent had a successful print since this started happening.

When the filament first hits the bed, the first section (of the 90 degree sample) comes out ok, but the second section goes all squiggly. The print is faulty from then on in.

I tried running the print calibration before each print but it makes no difference in this instance.

Any ideas how I can fix this issue?

Many thanks.

here is what I found when I opened it up both of the screw for holding tension on the drive belt for the Z-screws were loose and out of the holes in which they belong. So I am now double checking how to tension the drive belt. (tried to post a picture of what it looked like when I opened it up dont know if it will show up.)

My K1C 2025 / CFS-C recently started doing the same thing more or less I can see the rear Z screw moving the rear of the plate up and down while printing but the front of the plate stays in place. decided to investigate. I find the front 2 Z-screws will freely rotate almost a quarter turn while the rear Z-screw will not. I believe there may be a set screw in the pulleys at the bottom of the Z-screws in the front that has come loose. I will be investigating this fuller this evening and documenting what I find!

Going into the Settings menu on the printer, and doing a full system reset (ie enabling all checks has fixed this issue for me).

As shown here…

A full reset of the processor helped me before today. I have actually had to do it twice because of altering IP Addresses but I think the Creality people have cured this woe with updated versioning of GUI and firmware.
