Using Orca 2.1.1 with my K1C printer, I’m getting a “ghosting” effect on raised text (see photo). Does anybody have suggestion(s) for reducing/eliminating this distortion?
I actually figured this out myself. Or, at least I found a measure to reduce this significantly. I did a Resonance Calibration on my 3D Printer. It turns out I had moved my printer, but hadn’t put it through the proper setup process that allows it to effectively compensate for mechanical vibrations (aks resonances) that inherently occur during the printing process. Also, in Orca Slicer, I changed Inside then Outside to Outside then Inside, in terms of the order in which the wall layers are laid down. Those to things improved the print quality immensely. The Inside/Outside vs Outside/Inside might be a print strength trade off, but in my case the difference is minor enough to not matter.
