Wow! I am impressed. Yesterday a blunder on my part caused my K1c’s print bed to run into a Z-axis obstruction. It emitted a series of loud (and alarming) bangs. When they stopped, the back of the bed was at least half-an-inch lower than the front.
I figured I’d ruined the printer, but decided to try an auto-level operation. lots more banging ensued, and ultimately the bed rose to the top of the chamber. When the auto-level process reached the rear of the bed, there was a large gap between the nozzle and the bed, and the printer started banging again. With each bang, I could see the bed rise.
Ultimately the banging stopped, and the auto-level operation completed successfully – the bed was level. I started a print job, and it came out perfectly.
I am seriously impressed that the K1c can bring such a tilted bed back to level. Good job, Creality engineers!
