K1C + CFS Purge line without filament + skip feed when starting printing from cfs

The situation in the K1C firmware with the kit upgrade is a bit unclear - The purge line at the start of printing is performed without a filament because the CFS takes the filament back into the coil after the end of printing.

1 question: Why make a test line when there is no filament in the extruder???

2 question: During the start of the direct printing of the object, the feed is skipped by about a centimeter 3, because of this it is necessary to print the skirt so that the filament has time to reach and does not spoil the first layer.

Is that the case for everyone?

Немного непонятная ситуация в прошивке К1С с апгрейд кит - Линия продувки при старте печати производится без нити накала потому что CFS после окончания печати забирает нить в катушку обратно.
1 вопрос: Зачем делать тестовую линию когда в экструдере нет нити накала???
2 Во время старта непосредственно печати объекта происходит пропуск подачи примерно сантиметра 3, из за этого приходится печатать юбку, чтобы нить накала успела дойти и не портила первый слой.

У всех так?

I have the same problem indeed, and the first line of the print sometimes fails because there is no purching after loading the filament.
Hope there will come a solution soon.

This is a different problem, it’s not a blockage, but a missing part at the beginning of the first layer after loading the filament from cfs

Same issue here. Technically i solve this issue to always use mouse ears (where the first one will be missing anyway) but at least the model is not suffer from this firmware bug…

Really hope Creality fix this ASAP, as since i have the CFS i have constant bugs.

  • first 2 sec no filament
  • display freeze / blank screen issue (i can still control from the pc / app)
  • filament retract issue after printing finished error. (after reboot i could still retract it so it was not a clogging / or hardware issue rather somekind of software bug again…)

Yes, I also use a skirt to avoid damaging the first layer of the model.

There is no solution for the test line yet… It only gets the nozzle dirty without the filament, which is a bit annoying… and then it only goes to the filament charging basket… this is a bug
