K1c + cfs upgrade extruder motor wires problem

Hi, I just installed the CFS upgrade on a K1C. Before printing, the extruder hits the back right corner, making a loud banging noise. I noticed it cut the cables connecting the extruder motor to the motherboard. I installed the replacement part and it happened again. What could it be? Any help?

When you installed the new extruder, did you route the wiring exactly as pictured in the install video?

I had the video running while I installed, backed up and viewed some sections multiple times when I installed mine.

I had the exact same two wires shear right off.
The problem is when you run the original firmware after you install the CFS conversion.

The machine upon self test will ram up against the chute. This can happen very easily if you fail to stick the USB in there all the way or if the Firmware on the USB was not on the root folder. There is no way to know what firmware is being initialized. There is also no warnings about this.

I sheared mine right off. You have to use a Dremel and buzz off the plastic carefully to expose the wires. After soldering, a large blob of epoxy covering all the wires will not only insulate the mess, but also prevent the wires from being cut in the future.
