K1C extruder chewing up ABS

Hello,

Just received my K1C, tried to print a test model with Creality Hyper ABS (as I’m not interested in PLA) : after ~30 minutes the filament stops getting out and the extruder is totally clogged.

After opening it, it seems that the extruder chewed up the filament. Removed and cleaned it, restarted a new print and… same thing happened at the middle of the second print.
What can cause this ?

I used the default settings for CR-ABS on 260°C, could be too high ?
Should also note that the extruder motor was extremely hot (wasn’t able to touch it)

I am printing in ABS now at 150mm/sec and at 260C on the hotend and 85C on the bed…

The prints warp a bit but not much. Unless I print a non-right angle type of piece, the warping starts so far.

But again, not much warping is taking place. I kept my fans low for the extruder to not get too cool during extraction.
