I have changed the hot head of my k1c which includes a filament feed. How do I disable the original feed which keeps telling me the filament has run out please?

Hi, Yes there probably was ,but alas my wife immediately bins all packaging once the item has been removed from its box. So annoying, although spent 60 years trying with zero success. ( also puts two hands on one side of a a steering wheel when turning still after 60 years LOL). So if you have the answer PLEASE!

Do you have the DXC extruder? If it helps, I’m about to install that one. There is a runout sensor to that, and it plugs in just over the feed motor connector. The other sensor on my K1 Max is located at the rear right of the machine. It is black and has an arrow on it and a fingerprint. It is attached with two bolts. Undo those and unplug the white connector at the bottom. You will need to carve away the glue with a knife connecting the sensor to the wires.
