Hi,
I got the famous leveling sensore abnormality message lately. Tightening the heat bed screws improves the issue, but it comes back after some time. I noticed that I couldn’t really tighten two of the four screws, it seems the thread is busted. I opened the heat bed and saw that each of the four load cells is connected to the heatbed using a threaded connector made from plastic (see picture), I guess for thermal insulation. However, not a big surprise the thread on such a part doesn’t last very long.
Some questions:
- Is there a replacement available?
- Did anyone come up with a better solution here?
- I measured the diameter of the screw, which was about 3.8mm for the major diameter. Google suggested this should be a #7 machine screw, which is quite uncommon. Is that correct?
