Sometimes the filament gets jammed, and the printer keeps printing nothing (it follows the steps but doesn’t build anything). Shouldn’t the camera identify that nothing is being printed and stop the print until the issue is resolved? I’ve lost a lot of prints this way… after 4 hours of printing, the filament got stuck, and it would print for 10-20 minutes without anything happening until I noticed the problem. Then I had to start everything over from the beginning
I think the camera is basically useless. My printer did this overnight and happily squirted out about 1/4 of a reel of filament! However, the camera sometimes tells me there’s something on the build plate if I use the Creality textured build plate, and there’s nothing there! Don’t count on the camera for any useful monitoring.
