Hi, I have the 2024 K1C Max model an d after changing the hot end, heat sink and extruder I have an extra screw left over and I cannot find an exploded view. It is a counter sunk 14mm bolt, any idea where this should be fitted?
Probably the same place you took it out from! 
Did you remove the dust covers and look around for an obvious missing screw? I’ve taken the extruder apart, on my K1C, but I didn’t end up with any extra screws after it was assembled.
@John_Will yes took it apart again and again just to be sure.
Very odd, it’s not like it’s a tiny screw that could be overlooked! 
14 mm bolt is pretty big…
Yep, I have to believe you’d notice some issue with that missing. 
Were you rebuilding an engine on the same work table maybe…?
Not an M14 bolt.
There are 3 screws that hold the PC board just behind the front fan.
Another place with long screws - hold the stepper motor and the extruder to the frame.
There are two screws not shore of the length that hold the heat sink, sitting behind the pc board.
