K1C: What are the specs for the ball bearing in the filament drive? (updated)

Hi,

I didn’t notice any ball bearing when I had to remove some jammed filament from the extruder

…and now, I’m one short.
I believe I read a post elsewhere, claiming it’s a MR85ZZ but that doesn’t fit, as the inner diameter (as far as I can deduce) should be 2.5mm 3mm (it’s apparently a v4 and I just checked, this time wearing glasses ).

I’ve dug up another post, indicating I need a MR63K (Id: 3, Od: 6, H: 2), but should anyone know otherwise (or have a link for reference) I’d really appreciate some help, because MR63K doesn’t appear to be available in DK, so I’m currently trying to different online cross-reference tools, to figure out what else might be used, like perhaps the S673zz.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Per_Thoudahl_Termark,

Sorry that I can’t shed any light on what it should be, but , what you found online does not make sense to me, in that, how does a ball bearing have an inside diameter (unless it is hollow)?

Cheers.

It’s what’s also called the ‘bore’, but there’s actually more than one inner diameter - wikipedia has a nice illustration.

Hello Per_Thoudahl_Termark,

Yes, I feel stupid. I was thinking “ball” not “ball bearing”… I will go now in shame :sob:

Cheers.
