K1C X/Y axis losing it's mid partway through print

New user here, my K1C has just started to lose its mind in the X/Y axis part way through a print. Has happened 3X. Calibration is run before print, extrude to make sure nozzle is OK. The X/Y axis shifts ~11mm in each direction part way through a print. Was working OK up until yesterday.

Same Here

I don’t have a good answer, not even a bad answer.
My K1C printed great for months. Then out of the blue, a similar layer shift occurred. It happens about every 5 prints or so.
I ran the whole gambit: extra MCU cooling, check frame square, belt tension (way to many times), clean the x-axis rails, different firmware, different slicers, different acceleration speeds.

I haven’t tried taking out the x-axis bearing and giving that a good look.

It seems if I lower the the travel speed to 350 and acceleration speeds to 6000 the layer shift happens less frequent. But that is just a guess…

I’m not totally inclined to think is all mechanical in nature. Its more like it freaks out and loses where home is at on the x-y. Plus the x and y are usually off the same distance.

This drives me nuts as I can’t really do any longer prints with this printer.
