K2+ Camera stopped working

First post and first Creality product. I received my K2 plus with CFS in Dec. The enclosure camera was previously working in Creality Print but has since stopped streaming. I’ve updated the firmware and reset everything but that hasn’t fixed my issue. When I attempt to connect over port :8000, I get no response. The obstacle detection works immediately after booting up but then stops. I’m thinking that something is overheating - either a microcontroller on the camera’s board or something on the motherboard. Has anyone else had issues with their camera?

Also of relevance, I raised this issue with the Creality support email on 02 Jan but am yet to receive any technical support. In addition, the online support always seems to be offline. Is this a typical Creality experience?

I just received my K2 15 Jan. I was able to print after a number of issues, but my camera does not communicate during printing.
Creality customer service takes time to get back to you. My experience: sometimes they get back to you, sometimes not. When they get back to you, it might have been a couple weeks.

Thanks for that. They finally got back to me. I think I’ve been sent a new camera - I guess I’ll follow up in a week if I don’t receive anything and update after that.

I received a really poor email response, responded and received nothing further. I then got onto the customer support team through the online chat. They asked me to send an email. When I explained I’d been through that process already, they looked into it and told me my case had been closed. Upon reopening the case, I received an email apologising for the slow response and asking for shipping details to send a new camera.

Support’s comment back to me > Hi, sorry for the trouble, the camera function is not supported to view on Fluiid at the moment, the camera function can be viewed inside IP:8000 or inside the slicing software.
Feel free to contact us for any questions.

For some reason, product functionality does not seem to be of concern to them.

My K2 pro camera just stopped being accessible via browser access at :8000, with the latest firmware update.

I am not finding any solution to this. Creality Print app still has access to the camera.

What is going on with this? Is Creality restricting access to the cam or is this a bug that will be corrected?

UPDATE May 18,2026
Downgraded firmware from 1.1.5.5 back to 1.1.4.4 and problem went away. Video is back and ap began working as it did before.
All is well again. Avoiding the pushed upgrade being pestered with until next time. Keeping the v1.1.4.4 on the USB key in case it happens again.

Boy! Creality websites are hard to navigate. It took me about 25 minutes to find the downgrade file again after switching laptops. So much trying to advertise to the user and incorrect English wording.
