After some testing and discussions around the DXC2 extruder, I wanted to share a solution I’ve been working on for the K2 Plus.
The new Chain Riser version is now available.
This version was developed to solve the PTFE tube rubbing against the frame, something that becomes more noticeable with the DXC2 due to the higher position and sharper bend during homing. Even with the original extruder, this is already a limitation of the frame design.
///What this version does:
• No contact against the frame
• Improves the angle during X and Y movement
• Keeps the tube more stable during fast motion
• Works with both DXC2 and original extruder
• Simple installation, no complex changes needed
It is now available on Creality Cloud.
