FWIW,
The instructions on Creality say you can reflash the firmware if the K2 Plus bricks (mine did).
The version that they have on their website is version 1.10 of PhoenixSuit_EN and it is clean of malware.
There is a new version from AllWinnerTech that is V1.19 and supposed to come with a new updated driver that works with Windows 11. (search the web and you’ll find it)
DO NOT download version 1.19 from any website you find it on. It contains a Trojan Malware. I’ve found it on about 5 different sites and all are infected. I also double checked these downloads through VirusTotal and all are infected.
Please note: This version is found external to Creality and NOT on the Creality website!
I’ve requested Creality to update this software tool to the latest level WITHOUT the malware included 
Hopefully this will be updated at some point in time.
