I have a K2 Plus that is making knocking sounds when the print head is in motion and matches the rhythm of the print head. Has anyone else experienced this, if so, any ideas? I tightened all the Z rods, no avail.
Clean and lube the tracks and see if that helps

That sounds like something loose and rattling. I’d go thru and check all the screws, belts, etc.

Think its the cable holder of the extruder that touch the side panel.

Similar sound by mine K2 on the left side, I think the Slide Bearing makes the noise, Cleaning, greasing….nothing helps. I think the bearing must be changed.

Was there ever a solution for this? I am getting the same sound on the XY axis.
sounds like the bearings are going. The band aid is the “turn the rod” solution. The real fix would be to replace the bearings
To me It sounds like the ptfe tube rubbing on that top “lip”
Ended up taking apart the K2 plus and for me it was the Y axis stepper that was creating the knock. Its been a pain to try to buy a replacement unfortunately.
You should be able to source a generic stepper motor to replace your existing.
I thought it might be a belt slipping or something
