A few week ago I purchased my first k2 plus I was really excited and I purchased not from creality but from that well known shopping site . Anyway it arrived and straight away when I opened it I had bits missing such as screws fortunately creality send extra screws so this was not an issue . So I set printer up goes through diagnostic sequence and it fails and tells me fans are not working I was really dissapointed so I sent it back and ordered another . Second one arrives from same place as first and again it had a fault so I sent it back again and ordered another one and this time I was pleased to see it was coming straight from supplier . Anyway I printed the little boat out on it and I was so pleased with it . I am no stranger to 3d printers and I make puppets so this is what I wanted it for . First of all I printed out a puppet and it did pretty much everything as expected but I had to scale model up so I did and then I left it as I knew it was going to be a long print two hours in I got a failed print and a message about y axis code CM2789. I looked but could not see issue so reset printer and it seemed fine and I printed another boat off then the filament would not retract that was a issue I had . I decided to turn it off and have a cup of tea I came back to it an hour later turned printer on and now it is behaving really strangely when is is trying to do test it is stuck and keeps repeating step over and over . eventually message appeared saying coordinate over run now I must admit not having a k2 plus before I was a bit stunned when it kept smacking the print head into side of cupboard . I upgraded the firmware as requested by the printer and it seemed a bit better but I am getting same message over and over coordinate over run . I feel really let down by creality
Do the screws on the z axis spin true? Either bent?
You might want to clean and lube the slides on the side of the printer. I used a kitchen towel and silicone lube. Then run the calibration on the auto level and belt
Hi Thank you for your reply .
Honestly I got the printer Thursday morning , opened it up and it was fine
However when I did the setting up and ran it through test it passed everything ok then I started having problems first it told me there was an issue with the Y AXIS everything appeared fine to me but I kept been told there was a problem so I decided to start afresh from beginning . I then started getting problems where the print head seemed to get stuck in a sequence and I then got message BUFFER OVER RUN or BUFFER UNDER RUN no matter what I have tried I cannot get past the calibration . I am just so fed up of this now because this is my THIRD creality printer in 3 weeks . ALL I WANT IS A PRINTER THAT WORKS but all I seem to get is problem after problem . My patience has finally run out. Creality has just lost me as a Customer now because I will be returning this printer and will do without .
