Today I startet a ASA Print, after about 1 hour later i went checking on the Print. The room smelled extremly toxic. On the Picutre You see what it look liked. The Z axe didnt move down. So it filled the nozzle, afte that it started grindind on the Build Plate. No software detection saw this. It just kept on going. (Any Ideas why?)
I’ve had one about as bad see Massive blob
I reckon it was caused by the print becoming detached from the bed but sticking to and blocking the nozzle.
Have since used glue stick and not had it happen again.
Hello !
Concerning the IA camera, I don’t really know. It’s coded within the system and I don’t really know how it works (have you activated in the settings though ?)
However, the “blob” on the nozzle is due to an adhesion issue. The print is going away, sticking onto the nozzle while it keeps pushing filament => Blob
When you remove it, try not to break the hotend ![]()
(Heat gun and remove part by part)
