K2 Plus waranty replaement print bed better than original warped one?

Hi All,

Just wanted to check with you to hear your feedback on warranty replacement print beds that Creality provided due to yours being too warped to use.

I received one but I have not installed it yet, I thought about sending it to a shop to have it machined flat but I am not sure if it is worth the effort.

How was your replacement print bed compared to the original warped one you had?

I don’t think so, they tolerance is only 0.3mm and that cold, when its heated its will warp over time, as its just rolled Aluminum until its settle in, I would assume due to the cost its not pre heat soaked and cycled and cnc down to correct tolerance.

Go get graphite or cast bed upgrade, if you want flat bed.

If you want to send to shop to get machined flat, ensure you get heat cycled its before sending it off.
