I bought K2 pro combo 1 week ago. I tried 15-20 model to print but only 1 model was being able to printed without any problem. I tried with different filament brand but everytime i am getting same error and print is being stopped. I also used creality cr-pla filament but same thing is happening at middle of the printing process. What should i check. Please help međȘ i am sharing the screenshot as attached. Waiting your informative answers.
So , can you tell me which Slot the PLA filament is in?
I discovered something through many hours of Prints and an auto-matic switch over when a spool goes empty. If I use CR Hyper PLA in the two outside positions in the CFS ie. slot 1 & 4 and Place the off or other brand or SunLu PLA+ in the middle with say some Hatchbox IRON-RED everything is great!, BUT ONLY if in the MIDDLE two Positions in the CFS unit. If I use anything else and I have used 4 brands to test in those OUTside Slots 1 & 4 I get all the errors seen here and always find pieces of them in the CFS path somewhere, Buffer, Unions, a piece of filament the exact length of the Clear mixer plate underneath. Once all is clear, it prints beautifully again . If the Filaments are new it CFSâs good and it works for a while , if they are more than a few days old, âStuff Happensâ if I dry everything low-low, less issues appear, some slippage on prints is what alerted me to it. Creality rooked us and Hooked US , LOL Iâll never go back and because I will BUY the CFS with built-in dryer when it comes. Any print I have had issue with was always because the material wasnât right it wasnât dry enough IMO.
I think the Hyper PLA and The RFID tag Spools have some secret on my unit they ALWAYS work from any position in the CFS, the others ALL must be in the middle PRO-TIP.. IMO

@PJ_Glasso thanks for the informative massage to me. I used first and second slot of the cfs and same error is being arised. Eve if i use spool holder not cfs, i am getting same error. Also during flow rate calibration print, same thing happened, getting FO0528 error. It ia brand new product and i cannot use it. I used different slicer , like cura, get rid of any gcode problem, i am gettin FO0528. I have been using creality ender 3 almost 5 years and i know the most of the basic techincal things about 3d printers. I think it is a broken product during shipping or during packaging. Is anybody has any suggestion?
Hi there,
well I would Agree 100% , and your experience like mine is deep on the product so we are familiar.
I would return it if any way possible. Mine arrived as I watched in Horror
the Fed_x driver carry it to my door UPSIDE Fân Down..as I holered HAY itâs upside down⊠He had a look of OhâNoâŠ
As you can see from the Picture the Top was the Bottom the WHOLE way no doubt. and to make matters worse there are BIG giant ARROWS on the BOX ..for UP
I had quite a few problems initially but since the latest version of Creality print everything is running well. Also you need to make sure you are using the correct filament preset.
I would say definitely use Creality Print for slicing.
Hello, my K2 Pro was also delivered upside down, the problem is that the shipping label is normally stuck to the box upside down, making people think thatâs the correct side, and the up arrows logo is not big enough. My box came perfect with no scratches or dents, but OMG , your box looks like it was in the Vietnam War, it has also been affected by water, I would possibly reject it and tell the courier to send it back to Creality. Creality does the best packaging I ever seen, thatâs why your printer is working fine, like mine too. Merry Christmas!
I bought my K2 Pro printer on November 27th, 2025 from the Creality website and received the printer within the next ten days. Everything went well as expected and I printed multiple different designs and shapes with no issues until at the end of December I got the âFO058â error indicating âThe printer is printing without extrudingâ. When I got this error I looked it up on the Creality Wiki website, cleaned the nozzle, and checked the motor, recalibrated the printer and did the self check. Also checked the retract and extrude functions and everything went well. After that I decided to make a few small prints which lasted less than an hour but the job wasnât as clean as before. Next, I repeated the same design (a pen holder) where I got the FO058 error in the first place, but after one hour it happened again. I am a telecom engineer and have been working in IT industry for many years so I am familiar with troubleshooting processes and this more seems to be a firmware/software issue to me rather than a hardware issue. But what is really disappointing is the long waiting times to get a response back from Creality support team. Their support is awful and really bad, I really wonder if I can get help from them anyway. I havenât also been able to find a contact number to be able to speak with them directly. If you have any new update on whether you were able to tackle the FO058 error please keep me posted. Thank you.
You need to go to the Creality download page, get the previous version that ends in 66, put it in a USB then plug it in to your 3D Printer and it will ask if you want to upgrade, yes then turn off automatic updates on the printer. If you get printing errors in quality take a photo and try ChatGPT. It is excellent at giving printing tips and tells you what to adjust. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the reply. I havenât tried to revert the firmware yet but what I did instead was to bring down the filament maximum volumetric speed from 23mm3/s to 20mm3/sec. Next, I did three prints and all were successful. One was a Vase, the second was a cup holder, and the third one was a headset holder. However, when I tried to print a small Whistle today the printer stopped twice printing the object and showed the FO0528 error again. I always to a PA calibration before all my prints, the extrude and retract functions are also good but I have a feeling this printer is having issues with some of the objects but unfortunately thatâs just a feeling.
I also contacted the Creality support and opened a ticked and shared a video and multiple images of the failed prints. This printer is just 1.5 months old and has just printerd for 3 days and 15 hours.
I will update everyone again here once I figure out what the problem is but so far looking at lots of forums, videos, and websites no one has been able to figure it out.
Nearly every error can be attributed to the software. Revert back to the firmware version that ends in 66 from Creality downloads and let me know if you still have any problems. I did like most everyone update the Creality slicer V7 and started getting errors just connecting to my 3 x 3D Printers. So I went back to V6.3 and everything worked perfectly all day yesterday. The number 1 issue with these printers is software. Get a USB format to exFAT and get the old 66 firmware.
ChatGPT is excellent at helping you with printing problems. Just take a photo of the print and explain what happens. It already knows what are common faults and has answers. Very helpful. The Creality support is a 3 day turnaround so unless you are super patient you are better off using AI
Hello, I updated my K2 Pro printer back in November to firmware 1.1.0.94. Iâm not updating to the recent firmware update, as some people have been having problems. My printer has never asked me again to update to the new version and is printing almost 24/7 since November without a single issue.
If it works donât touch it!!! I asked Creality support if it is safe to update yet to the 94 version and still havenât got a response in over a month. I did try it but instantly got the 300 degree glitch. Whatever works stick with it.
