My first run of the K2 Pro was a very quick emergency stop. The print head crashed into the purging (poop chute) area with great force and continued to hammer it. Not at all what I was expecting and really got the heart pumping. So needless to say I went through all the checks to make sure I didn’t miss anything in the initial setup…..no packaging left in place and all stops removed. Next was a factory reset and self test procedure. After that I printed a couple of ABS items and all seemed OK. Day 2 and I had a failed print, support fell over, so I stopped the print. After adjusting the print slicer settings I ran it again. BANG and HAMMER again!!
Powered the machine down and restarted from scratch and it printed fine, actually better than fine SUPERB. Love this printer.
Long story short the same thing happened again after stopping another print and then restarting. After that I always home the printer before i hit go and that was working OK until today when the printer failed to run and thew up a CX2573 error (abnormal X axis homing abnormality)
Well through out this string of events I have been in contact with Creality support and their initial response had been to ask for the serial number of the machine and a video of the problem when it happened.
Have supplied the serial number but the video is beyond me. I tried to access the video from the cloud but all greyed out and can’t copy.
Sorry for the ramble but if anyone has some thoughts on the problem I would be grateful.
