Since installing 1.1.3.6 K2 Pro fails to print anything generated in a 3rd Party slicer. I use Creality Print and Orca together a lot but she will not print in from an ORCA generated GCode. It goes through the motions, performs calibration but then just sits there waiting and waiting. Nothing gets it started.
K2 PRO Fimware 1.1.3.6 has Broken 3rd Party Slicers - Orca - Printer does not print after auto calib
I’m surprised no one has anything to say? Are there other users out there experiencing 3rd party slicer issues after upgrading to 1.1.3.6
Don’t get me wrong the auto levelling is a lot faster and less poop now too, but still?!! Creality you don’t want to give yourself a bad name like bamboo did whenever they locked everyone out of 3rd party slicers eh?
I use orcaslicer exclusively for printing. I use creality print only to compare changes in the release of a new version of creality print.
I use orcaslicer without problems even after the update.
Maybe you have a specific start-gcode in which there is something that the new version of fw does not like.
I have exactly the same problem, with the 1.1.3.6 update it stopped Orca from working, although I can open a browser and go directly to the Fluid UI. I rolled back to the previous firmware and Orca worked fine.
There is an open request in Orca to resolve this problem, but I think it should be Creality that should fix the issue that they created with the firmware update
Sad to say this but I think that Creality is going down the Bamboo path
