On first power on got CM2798-x error can’t start calibation becouse klipper shuts down.
When swap cables get CM2798-y.
That means that problem is cable or stepper motor.
Printer arrived today.
Interchanged cables and same error on X motor. Definitely is problem with stepper motor.
After few days playing ping pong with creality support they send me replacement X axis step-servo motor.
Final update. The printer arrived with faulty X motor. Motor which came from ditributor was also faulty and from Creality arrived motor with Y axis mount. After i tried that motor from Creality calibration was possible and printer begins to work as expected. All in all two weeks of hassle and troubles ended on 01.11.2025.
Both faulty motors have had bad solder joints on cable connectors. They could communicate with controller board but couldn’t pass calibration. Creality need much better quality control, for components and for final products.
