I have a K2 Pro with CFS. I generally print with ASA. I want to use BVOH as a support material because I can then use higher temperatures as needed by ASA. But I don’t think I can use BVOH in the CFS. Is there a way to hang a reel on the single reel (for BVOH) and also use the CFS (for ASA)?

If the BVOH spool is the problem you can always roll some onto an old spool
Compatibility of BVOH with CFS
General Information
BVOH (Butylene Vinyl Alcohol) is a water-soluble support material commonly used in 3D printing. It is designed to provide support for complex geometries and can be easily removed after printing.
CFS Filament System Compatibility
-
Allowed Usage: BVOH can be used in the CFS (Creality Filament System) for multi-material printing.
-
Moisture Sensitivity: BVOH is sensitive to moisture. It is essential to store it properly to maintain its performance.
Recommendations
-
Storage: Ensure that BVOH is kept in a hermetically sealed environment to prevent moisture damage.
-
Filament Switching: The CFS system allows for automatic filament switching, which can be beneficial when using BVOH alongside other materials.
In summary, BVOH is compatible with the CFS system, but proper storage and handling are crucial for optimal results.
