K2 Pro stuck on PA-CF

I ran a few test parts with PA612-CF. Very impressed with the output and I have not done much tweaking of the settings. So I went to switch back to PLA for some more testing and I seem to be stuck. Here is the issue. I retract the PA612-CF filament back into the CFS. That seems to work fine. It obviously leaves some in the hot end. I then tell it to load the PLA which it starts to do. The filament feeds to the extruder and stops. The hot end heats to 300 deg which was the temp for the PA612-CF. All seems fine so far. The filament screen displays “Flush old filament”. I would expect it to then extrude the new filament and push out the old. But nothing happens. It will sit forever (I left it over the weekend, no change). My though it that it is a software bug that has the temp at 300 for the “old” filament but it has logic to not drive the extruder until the temp is in range for the “new” filament which is lower. And it just sits there stuck.

If I power cycle the unit, react the new PLA and reload the PA612-CF, it gets to the same point and extrudes fine. Any ideas? Otherwise this machine will be forever stuck with PA?

I don’t know if is the same filament. I’m using Sunlu PA12-CF. First time I place it on the CFS work great. The second time won’t pass trough the filament buffer. If i switch to different filament ASA, PLA, etc all pass trough nice. I opt to move the PA12CF to a dryer box that have ptf tube connection and print from there like a side spool. So far I’m in my third roll and print perfect not using the CFS. Down side, I cant use the CFS to mix materials. I like to use PETG as support layer interface.

I am trying to get a TDS for the filament. It is Creality brand, I bought on Amazon but they do not seem to have any reference to it on their website. It runs back and forth through the buffer (CFS system) fine for me. Only issue is this bug where it seems to be more software than a mechanical issue. My Pi X4 finally arrived and I plan to use that to feed it. I don’t need auto filament changing but I could use the heated enclosure for the nylon.

Did you even found the solution? I just ran into the same issue. I am currently doing a factory reset after exhausting all other options.
