OMFG THIS PRINTER IS MAKING ME GO CRAZY!!! one second its working perfectly… the next its throwing a temper tantrum… the gears on my extruder seem to jump or jam randomly for like a millisecond causing rips in my prints… right now i feel more like a 3D printer surgeon than a 3d artist!! I’ve taken this thing apart that many times i feel like one of those people who can strip down a gun and rebuild it blind folded in under 30 seconds…
Is there a way i can get a refund? I’ve only had it for like 2 weeks but im not sure how i can go about it. With this being my first 3d printer it makes me feel like quitting the hobby all together!! and it completely ruined my goal at having a little 3d printer farm as a side hussle!
I’ve probably wasted like 2 spools of PLA trying to get this thing to work correctly!! its easier to get a 10 year old fussy eater to eat broccoli than getting this devil of a machine to eat its filiment
The reason why i got this printer is because bought a creality falcon 10w laser engraver and it worked perfectly so i assumed that their 3d printers would be the same!! at this point it makes me feel like i should sell my laser engraver too and invest into another one from a different company!!
Rant over, time to take this thing apart again for the 100th time

Give us some more information. I don’t have a K2 SE but I have a print farm with 13 Creality printers, including a K2 Pro.
What filament are you using and at what temps?
i was using Creality hyper PLA, i just moved to bambu lab matt PLA and it seems fine so far (only just started a print not complete yet, fingers crossed it was the filament that kept messing up somehow!
I swear im in a love hate relationship with this printer haha.
If you don’t mind me asking do you make your own stls or do you buy them? i don’t know much about print farms yet so any info you can pass on to me would be precipitated.

I’ve never been a fan of hyper plas or pla+ personally, so it very well may have been a filament issue.

My experience with the K2 SE has been a mixed bag because at first it printed great then I had my first issue. The white pla that came with it clogged the nozzle on an overnight print but the printer went through the motions and reported the print completed. The next morning cleared the extruder no big deal. Got it printing again added a camera and things were good again. Then I did another overnight print with that white filament again and same thing happened however this time I have been going back and forth with tech support trying to get the printer back up again. Have replaced hot end board cut detection line, and the break detection board in the extruder. Support is now sending another extruder so hoping this will get it back up. I have an ender 3 so I realize there will be work from time to time in this hobby but I have barely had this printer a month now and the thing has been down almost half the time.
Worst machine I’ve ever owned! I have had more down days than working days. I originally had an Ender 3 and had several problems with it. But, after replacing several parts, I got it to work most of the time. Figuring mine was a fluke I decided to upgrad to a K2. Huge mistake. Since almost the beginning I keep getting a “Z Axis homing issue”. I make sure everything is clean and lubed, nothing blocking anything and boom, z axis homing issue. I went so far as to buy and replace the strain gauge and it worked for about 2 prints, then boom, z axis homing issue. My recommendation for this machine would be just don’t buy one. I was so frustrated with this machine that I bought a Flashforge and it has worked like a champ! My future machines will most likely now be Flashforge since it seems to work. My Creality experience has been poor and frustrating. You shouldn’t be having issues and replacing parts on a brand new machine.
Totally agree, they are crap
I have ak2 paperweight. It’s a total waste of money and Creality warranty is worth ■■■■. I got 3 months outta mine. Now it’s useless
