I have a 3 color print. I have the K2 with one CFS. The blue and white are properly in the CFS slots 1 and 2. The 3rd color is PLA silk Gold, which will NOT feed through the CFS. CLogs every time. After unclogging 6 times, I have had enough of it and put it on the side spool. Once the filament gets to the extruder, the K2 handles it fine. So I have 3 colors defined in the print and it finds the blue and white just fine in the CFS. But cannot find the gold. It asks me to tell it where the gold is, but the options are only the 4 CFS slots. It does NOT offer the side spool as an option. So apparently I can do a multicolor print by putting ALL the colors in the CFS. OR I can do ALL colors by using pause in the slicer and feeding the blue white AND gold using the side spool? There is NO option to allow one color to be from the side spool. Further, if I use the CFS, I have a hard limit of 4 colors, since I cannot use the side spool at all. Any workarounds?

Maybe because the external spool holder cant retract so it wont let them overlap?
