1 1/2 hour into a 3 1/2 hour job, my Falcon2 Pro decides to stop ‘lasering’ but continues to travel ruining a 6x6” white tile. I paused and did the reset and it fired right up. meanwhile I lost 3\8 of an inch right in the middle of the job. (of course I discontinued) Lens was cleaned before this job running at ‘precision’ mode.
Do I have to stare at the job ready to pause if the laser quits firing not to lose a 3 1/2 hour job?
I’m confused as I’ve had this thing for a few months and been learning how things work but my tiles have started turning out really nice and now this is really frustrating.
Any of the alarm LEDs on the module turned red? Does the laser still work when you start a new job now?
no alarms - i used the pause button on laser hit the reset, then to precise and it started right up - with a 3/8” blank space between stop and start.
currently I’m running a couple of test strips and it’s working fine. GPT says it could have gotten too warm but the room I’m in is about 67* and have external air exhaust to the outside-
The only reason I could see for it to be overheating under normal conditions is that if the laser module is quite dirty around the fan from deposits caused by cutting a lot of wood or so. Is it clean?

I don’t think it was overheating but open minded. It has only cut one large wood project but mostly white tile.
So the fan on the module looks clean?
Haven’t looked yet, been busy, probably tomorrow after work
Just checked it and blew a little bit of dust out. I don’t believe it had anything to do with the stop. No alarms just stopped . I’ll keep running it and see. I wouldn’t think 3.5 hours on a 6x6” tile would be too much for it.
