5 or 10 minutes ago, I downloaded the last firmware version, and now the model fan it’s just not working (i’ve been printing all day and it was all good)
same problem no model fans after
update
After talking to tec support I did a firmware downgrade which fixed the fans. printers working properly again. Thinking it was something in the last update that caused the fans not to work.
Same, talked to support and did a downgrade of the firmware and that fixed the problem. Curious how the update says “Optimized fan control logic” or something like that and it just makes the fan to stop working xD
Same problem here after update, please share the downgrade tutorial.
thanks in advice
Go to this link Creality Cloud | Page and download the previous version (in this case 1.1.0.50) then put it in to a USB drive. Plug the USB drive in to the printer and in the screen you will get a pop up to install, procede with the installation, and that’s it.
Sorry for my English, I’m from Argentina, but I think I explained it OK.
I have the same issue, turned on machine this morning had the firmware update. after update my fans no longer work. I downgraded to previous firmware version but my fans still don’t work
You should contact Support in this case probably.
I did, they submitted a ticket ![]()
Hola!
I have checked this on my Hi and found the “Model Fan” as it is labeled in Creality Print V7 is working fine in both firmware versions. However in the Fluidd Dashboard the “Part Fan” as it is labelled shows 0%.
Don’t know how this may work with Orca
What GOOGLE thinks
This post was originally made about version 1.1.0.56, I just did a firmware downgrade and kept on using the old version until a new one came out. When 1.1.0.60 came out, I installed it and tested, and the “fix” was that the printer continued to work without the model fan working, so, with v56 fan was not working, so the printer didn’t even start to print, with v60 the fan still doesn’t work, but the printer prints anyways, which is no solution or fix at all, so I’m still waiting for a version that fixes this problem…
Just wondering what slicer software you are using
Creality print
Just to be clear, what my experience has been is that if I monitor the print via “device tab” in Creality Print it shows the Model fan working fine. However if I monitor using the Fluidd Dashboard it shows the Part Fan at 0%'.
The fan is working fine but due to the discrepancies in the naming of the fan the fluidd dashboard does not recognize the Model Fan and thus shows it not to be working when in fact it works fine.
In fairness I would suggest this is more a problem in the Fluidd software rather than the Creality software.
