Last Firmware update Broke the K2 with CFS

Did the last Firmware update introduce a ton of errors surrounding the filament and the CFS for any one else? is anyone able to roll back the firmware? the directions on the wiki they have are apparently out of date. when I follow them the best I can do is check the firmware not update it.

I’m super frustrated that none of the Creality support seems to operate. I have sent in e-mail after e-mail, log after log and i cant even get a simple we are working on it. If this is how there “flagship” printers are they can have it back…

Hello friend! We all have these and many other problems with this model. I’m sure the company is working 24/7 now to preserve its name and reputation. My printer actually started to smell like smoke, so it’s not so bad for you anymore :)))))

I wasn’t even using my CFS during the last 2 firmware updates. Went to use it tonight and it won’t auto feed filament when you add it to the slot. Kept throwing a ton of errors. $2000 piece of garbage I should’ve known better than to get the launch let alone preorder anything. I got one of the first K1s and it was also dog water out of the box. I have had nothing but issues and they ask me to provide videos and blah blah blah of the error but their forums are full of them already. I could have bought 2 bambulab P1S with AMS units and had change, I should’ve done that.

I have the same issues. They take three or four days o respond to e-mails then have a BS answer. They closed my ticket then when I bitched about it they re-opened it. It seems like they are stringing me along until the warranty runs out then I’m stuck with a boat anchor…

Which one is the “last firmware” in this context? I just got a brand new one and CFS is absolutely unusable. Trying to figure out how far back I need to roll back.

Same here with my K2
Lots off problems after the last update.
I am a little disappointed in Creality With There flagship printer.
Now waiting a long time for callibrating the bed.
Al the thinghs the K2 what to callibrate takes a lot of longer time then before.

And the extruder is clocking constanly it dont dare to print a print for longer then 30 min.

Can the firmware go back to a older vursion?

They disabled fw downgrade in one of the recent fw releases … seems a stupid thing to do, but I think they did it because one of the more recent fw upgrades fixed “some” of the fundamental issues everyone was having… by disabling downgrade they have to deal with less issues for the majority of users.

You can get around this by fooling it into performing a fw upgrade, which is actually a downgrade .

Have a look at this thread
